It is very convenient to measure the hot rolled steel plate with non-contact laser thickness gauge without radiation hazard. It can realize the on-line detection of 1000 ℃ high-temperature steel plate. The use of laser thickness gauge can help the staff to detect the thickness value on-line and process the measured data. It can also transmit the measured data to the control system to realize the on-line control of the steel plate.
The overall structure of the thickness gauge includes the following parts: base, C-shaped frame, linear guide pair, trapezoidal screw pair, stepping motor, protective cover, etc. There are 3 pairs of laser probe, 1 infrared thermometer, 4 probe adjusting mechanisms, circuit system and communication system of thickness gauge.
The C-shaped frame is installed on the base through linear guide rail pair and trapezoidal screw pair, and the base is directly fixed with the ground foundation. On the base, there are protective covers on the outside of the linear guide rail pair and trapezoidal lead screw pair to avoid dust pollution on the transmission mechanism. Driven by stepping motor and trapezoidal screw pair, the C-shaped frame can move along the guide rail. When no measurement or equipment maintenance is needed, the C-frame is taken out of the roller table of the hot rolling mill. The moving distance of the C-frame is controlled by the data input directly by the measurement software system.
Three pairs of laser displacement sensors are installed on the C-shaped frame, corresponding to three measuring points. The measuring points are named "a", "O" and "B". The "O" point is the middle point, and the "O" point probe is fixed in the C-shaped frame. On both sides of "a" and "B" measuring points, the corresponding probe is connected with the C-shaped frame through the probe adjustment mechanism. When measuring plates with different width specifications, switch the plate width model, and the system will automatically adjust the probe spacing to adapt to the plate width.
One infrared thermometer is set in the C-shaped frame, which can collect the temperature data of the measured plate in real time. After the temperature data is uploaded to the measurement system, the system will select the corresponding expansion coefficient to correct the measured value according to the rolling material and real-time temperature, and the corrected measured value is the thickness value of cold steel plate.
